There are several ways to get to Salt Spring Island, either by water or by air. Have a look at BC Ferries’s website. There are three routes to pick from:

• Tsawwassen (mainland) to Long Harbour
• Swartz Bay (Vancouver Island) to Fulford Harbour
• Crofton (Vancouver Island) to Vesuvius

There are several flights daily from Richmond, Vancouver. This can be a convenient way to come here quickly to look at a promising listing:

• Harbour Air
• Sea Air

It is still best to have your own car on Salt Spring Island if you plan on exploring on your own. We do have a car rental agency here and public transit. Our taxis only take cash. If you are my client, I am happy to pick you up at the floatplane or ferry terminal to view listings:
